Forest Bathing

Alyssa Delle Palme, is a certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs. 


Alyssa’s Forest Bathing programs have been delivered to people of all ages. Participants have been as young as infants in her Nature Babies class. Children from Wild Roots participate in Forest Bathing practices year-round. Alyssa has offered sessions for yoga instructors, school teachers, family groups and seniors. She has also offered Forest Bathing sessions to the public at local festivals including Tree Fest Ottawa. In collaboration with Forest Therapy Ottawa, Alyssa delivered a session to over twenty OBGYN doctors/residents from local hospitals.


Alyssa is passionate about the outdoors and wants to help people deepen their connection to nature.

Upcoming Public Forest Bathing Sessions

Spring Equinox Forest Bathing Walk

Date: Sunday, March 20th, 2022.

Location: Macskimming Outdoor Education Centre

Time: 1PM-4PM

Equipment needed: Snowshoes

Investment: $60

Introduction to Forest Bathing Workshop

Date: Sunday, May 1st, 2022.
Time: 1PM-4PM
Location: Macskimming Outdoor Education Centre
Investment: $100 and includes light refreshments.

In this introduction course, students will be guided on a 2 hour Forest Bathing walk followed by a fireside gathering where we will discuss the history, health benefits and ways to incorporate Forest Bathing into your daily life.
